Matt Leung – Registered Massage Therapy

My goal as an RMT is to guide you through a positive therapeutic experience so you can take charge of your health. This begins with a thorough assessment to determine the root cause of your pain so we can figure out a plan together. Following each treatment I want to provide you with new tools and knowledge to better your daily movements and posture. Before becoming an RMT, I completed a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and worked as a trainer for over 5 years. This allowed me to work with a diverse clientele ranging from rehab to athletes and everyone in between. I had developed a good understanding of anatomy and movement but realized I needed to learn new manual therapy skills to provide a better service to my patients.

Growing up playing baseball and basketball and now competing in powerlifting and weightlifting I have endured a number of injuries. Through my own rehab, I found that massage therapy was one of the most effective treatments for recovery, pain relief and overall well-being which led me to become an RMT. In my practice, I combine these academic and practical experiences while continually learning to provide the best patient-centred care possible.
