Massage therapists are health care practitioners who go through 2 years of post secondary education and have advanced training when dealing with soft tissue conditions.
Massage Therapy is a regulated healthcare profession that focuses on assessing, treating, and preventing soft tissue and joint dysfunction, pain, and injury. Registered Massage Therapists (RMTs) use hands-on techniques such as manipulation and mobilization to enhance physical function, relieve pain, and support overall well-being.
From conditions arising from motor vehicle accidents and poor posture to sports injuries and post operative conditions, a massage therapist can help restore motion and function to your muscles.

Josh employs an active treatment style using a variety of techniques, primarily Neurokinetic Therapy and Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization to help achieve your goals. During his sessions, he focuses on increasing body awareness and stability while alleviating discomfort by treating dysfunctional compensation patterns.
Josh believes in the power of corrective movement to resolve pain, basing his practice around it. Throughout treatment, he will assess and reassess specific movements across the body to help identify and treat the root cause of your pain, rather than just addressing symptoms.
If you are coming in for a more active treatment, Josh recommends bringing athletic-style clothing that allows for unrestricted body movement (shorts, shirts, sports bras, etc.).
