Clinical Counselling involves working with a trained, qualified counsellor who offers support and coping strategies to help clients better understand and manage personal challenges. 

Counselling addresses a wide range of concerns including mental health (depression, anxiety, stress), trauma, injury recovery, personal growth, goal setting, relationship issues (parenting, marriage, family conflicts), and grief or loss. 

Our goal is to empower clients with greater self-understanding, improved well-being, and meaningful change. 

Therapies we offer: 

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT): Focuses on identifying and changing negative thought patterns and behaviours. Clients learn to reframe distorted thinking and develop healthier coping strategies to improve emotional well-being. 
  • Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT): A form of CBT that emphasizes skills in mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotional regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. Helps improve impulse control, resilience, and relationship skills. 
  • Mindfulness: Involves non-judgmental awareness of the present moment through practices like meditation, breathwork, and focused attention to reduce stress and promote self-awareness. 
  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR): Uses bilateral stimulation (e.g., eye movements, tapping) to help reprocess traumatic memories, reduce emotional distress, and support healing. 
  • Somatic Psychotherapy: Focuses on the mind-body connection using body awareness, breathwork, and grounding exercises to process emotional challenges and develop inner regulation.
