Kinesiology is a study of physical activity and its impact on health and wellbeing. A registered kinesiologist is a health care practitioner which uses physical assessment and functional movements to assess the client’s restrictions and imbalances. Working closely with other healthcare practitioners, they will prescribe exercises for acute and chronic conditions, check work place ergonomics, help with your disability and case management caused by a motor vehicle accident and assist you with your lifestyle and physical activity planning.
Kinesiologists work with people of all ages, and physical abilities, in many settings, to help them achieve their health and wellness goals.
Our experienced kinesiologist at the Kinematics Sports Medicine and Rehab will assist you with your rehabilitation needs with personal injury and motor vehicle accident.
If you’ve been injured in a motor vehicle accident, ICBC may cover 12 kinesiology sessions.
